Dear Dave,

Your company has recently completed the renovation of my 1949 Citroen Light 15 Traction Avant.

Previous owners had resprayed with paint formulation that had reacted with the original paintwork necessitating starting from scratch and "bare mettlling" the bodywork. Once this had been accomplished then all sorts of rust and rot was apparent that required major works. Some doors had the complete lower half replaced and carefully welded back to original shape. In some areas it was not possible to repair with welding and braising techniques were used. Areas of the boot had to be extensively rebuilt. Bonnet ventillation slats were particularly difficult being too small for fingers, but partially corroded.

We have seen the work at every stage having been encouraged to visit regularly to monitor progress. We have been particularly impressed with the quality of the work and the immense attention to detail that have been apparent at all times.

In particular we wish to thank Mr Amadeep Jhetta, (Amar) who has been responsible for most of the work on the vehicle. Amar took a real pride in his work and was extremely thourough in all aspects of the renovation. He managed the dismantling, labelling and storage of the hundreds of nuts, bolts and thingamajigs that make up an old vehicle. He assessed what needed replacement an what should be restoredand he managed the reassembly process to great effect. Please convey our heart felt thanks for a job well done!

We are very pleased that we chose Autorenovations for this extensive project, the finished car is beautiful and probably better finished than when it came off the Slough production line all those years ago! We enclose some photos for your records.

To Staff admin.

Please thank your manager Mr Des Weight for locating a second hand bumper for my Mercedes.   It looks as good as new,  and he had it fitted and sprayed within the day.

Mercedes at Bexley wanted over £1000 to do the job so Des has saved me over £600.   I shall recomend yor company to my staff and friends. Thank you again.

Dear Mr Watts

Just a quick note to thank you and your staff for doing such a lovely job on my little car, it now looks as good as new. Thank your staff for being so courteous and patient. I will be bringing them one of my fruit cakes for their tea on Thursday when i come past with the dogs.
